Handmade in Italy. Rubber studded sole. Smooth, buttery calf leather. It's a certain shoe for a certain kind of man. Owned by The Prada Group, the company stresses the importance of the international customer. The brand itself is classic with a capital C, but with a hint of creativity the shoes are now offered in a wide array of colors and styles. Immediately when browsing the website, my eyes became glued to these green suede moccasin driving shoes with a punch of blue in the laces of the shoe. Other pairs made in bright red, crocodile skin, and of course another of my favorite: simple brown leather.
Coming about in 1960 the brand has absolutely been well-received by men who know how to dress and appreciate the craftsmanship of the Italians. Just sliding your foot into the shoe, you experience sudden comfort and luxury. The neutral shades match everything. Jeans, shorts, even paired with a suit for casual attire. They're found on the feet of every gentlemen. Indulge. Reward yourself. I love the thought of someone younger wearing these. A twenty-something year old sporting something so mature. As they say, before anyone will take you seriously, you must first take yourself serious.
