Spring is in the air, or at least it is temporarily. The warm weather has seemed to get an early head start this year - which is okay by me because it gives me more time to finally wear what I've been craving all winter. Over time I seemed to latch on to the nautical side of fashion and nothing feels preppier or brighter than mixing blue Acne pants with a genius yellow fisherman jacket which reminds me of how the men from Mr. Porter all dressed and matched during fashion week.
The nautical look can be overdone when the weather warms up, and everything can become a little too neutral. However, you can easily revamp it by choosing bright sea colors and pairing them with tan and leather accessories. It may not be a look you want to sport every day - but maybe for a yacht party when the warm weather decides to stick around.
